Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website https://www.fst3d.com (the “Website”), operated by FST 3D S.r.l. Società Unipersonale, with its registered office at Via Alpi 14, 63812 Montegranaro (FM), Tax Code and VAT No. 02611660446 (the “Data Controller”). It forms an integral part of the Website’s Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small strings of text that a website or a third-party service stores on the user’s device and can read during subsequent visits. Similar technologies include, amongst others, local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and online identifiers. They may be used to provide a requested function, protect the Website, remember preferences, measure usage or analyse interactions.
Cookies may be first-party, when they are set by the domain you are visiting, or third-party, when they are linked to a different domain. They may also be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser or shortly afterwards, or persistent cookies, which are stored for a specified period.
2. Categories used
Strictly necessary
Purpose: security, fraud prevention, technical operation, provision of requested functions and storage of privacy preferences.
Consent: not required; the privacy notice must always be provided.
Analytics and user experience analysis
Purpose: measurement of traffic, sessions, performance and interactions via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
Consent: required prior to activation. In the banner, this category may be referred to as ‘Analytics’.
Simple external links to YouTube, Calendly, LinkedIn or other websites do not activate the destination service’s cookies on the Website and do not constitute a category of cookies on the Website.
3. How consent is obtained and managed
On first access, the banner allows the user to accept all non-essential cookies, reject them, or customise their choice by category. No non-essential category should be pre-selected. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not constitute consent and retains the default settings, which only allow strictly necessary technologies.
You may change or withdraw your choice at any time via the ‘Cookie Settings’ option, which is always accessible on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to it. The Data Controller maintains a technical record of your choice in the Wix/Usercentrics consent register and will prompt you to confirm your preference again when necessary, for example in the event of substantial changes or when your stored preference expires.
4. Wix’s strictly necessary cookies
Wix states that the cookies listed below are essential for security, stability and basic functionality. Whether they are actually present depends on the features enabled on the Site. Names containing an asterisk indicate families of cookies whose full names may vary.

5. Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) helps FST 3D to understand traffic, pages visited, sessions and events. It is only activated on the Website once consent has been given for the analytics category. Google may process online identifiers, browser and device data, events and approximate geographical information.
The GA4 property is configured to retain event data and user data for 14 months. The option to reset the user data retention period upon new activity is disabled. Google Signals, User-ID, user-provided data collection, granular location and device data collection, and ads personalisation are not used.
The cookie durations shown in the table are separate from the data retention period within the GA4 property.

6. Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity generates heatmaps, metrics and interaction reconstructions to identify usability issues. It is only used on the website once consent has been given for the analytics category. The Wix/Usercentrics banner manages and transmits the consent status; Clarity must not set any cookies before valid consent has been given.
The FST 3D project uses the ‘Balanced’ masking mode: input fields and drop-down menus are always masked, and Clarity classifies, amongst other things, numbers and email addresses as sensitive. No integrations between the Clarity project and Microsoft Ads, Google Ads or Google Analytics are active.
When the user gives their consent, Clarity may use pseudonymous identifiers to link views and interactions. Microsoft currently states a retention period of 30 days for playback data and up to 9 months for aggregated clicks, heatmaps and sessions that have been tagged or added to favourites.

7. External links to YouTube, Calendly, LinkedIn and other services
The Website contains external links to FST 3D’s YouTube channel and videos, to Calendly, LinkedIn and other services. These links do not install cookies from the destination service on the Website and do not result in data being shared with the respective providers until the user clicks on them. Once clicked, the user leaves fst3d.com and data processing takes place in accordance with the respective provider’s privacy policy.

-
Google/YouTube: https://policies.google.com/privacy
If, in future, a YouTube video, Calendly or another service is embedded directly into the Website, the relevant content must be blocked prior to any consent being requested, and this Cookie Policy must be updated.
8. Consent management platform
The Usercentrics banner for Wix uses strictly necessary technologies, including any local storage or cookies, to display the panel, record, store and demonstrate the preferences expressed, and allow the user to change them. These technologies are not used for advertising or profiling purposes.
As names, storage methods and durations may vary depending on the version and configuration of the service, the up-to-date list of identifiers actually used, together with the provider, purpose and duration, can be viewed at any time in the details section of the ‘Cookie Settings’ panel, which forms an integral part of this policy.
9. Browser settings and other ways to disable them
In addition to the ‘Cookie Settings’ panel, users can delete or block cookies via their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect certain functions of the Website. Up-to-date instructions are available in the help centres for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and whichever browser you are using. Deleting cookies or local data may also clear your saved preferences, meaning you will need to make a new selection.
10. Updates
The Data Controller updates this Cookie Policy whenever there are changes to the services, cookies, consent settings or applicable legislation. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. In the event of a substantial change to the purposes or categories, consent will be requested again where necessary.
